The room suddenly felt too small.
Vihaan stood barely a breath away from Vanika, his eyes fixed on hers. Neither of them moved. The silence between them was louder than anything either could have said.
His jaw tightened.
“Push me away,” he whispered. “Tell me to leave. Do anything, Vanika… before I lose my mind.”
For a moment, she simply stared at him.
Then, unexpectedly, Vanika smiled.
A small, unreadable smile—the kind that made Vihaan wonder whether she was afraid of him…
Or whether she knew exactly what she was doing.
“Is it enough,” she murmured, “to make you lose your mind?”
With that she crashed her lips into his.
The kiss was not soft, but inviting him to do more. He tilt his head while deepening the kiss. She gave in completely and tried to match his pace.
He broke the kiss for a moment and picked her up in a bridal style and walked towards the bed.
He made her lie and immediately hovered her and attached his lips to hers , completely sucking her breadth away.
And for the first time, Vanika realized that whatever happened next could change everything between them.
